Grossone-based Infinity Computing

On-line series of lectures by Professor Yaroslav Sergeev

Grossone-based Infinity Computing is a new supercomputing paradigm allowing to execute NUMERICAL (floating-point) computations with numbers having different finite, infinite, and infinitesimal parts using a new number called Grossone® expressed by the symbol ① on a supercomputer patented in several countries. Yaroslav D. Sergeyev is Distinguished Professor and Head of the Numerical Calculus Laboratory at the University of Calabria, Italy. He is Editor-in-Chief of Springer’s journal Operations Research Forum, President (2017-2021) of the International Society of Global Optimization and the founder of the field of the Infinity Computing.
